City Art Centre
Located in the heart of the capital, with six exhibition galleries, the City Art Centre is Scotland's emporium of the visual arts. It hosts an amazing range of temporary exhibitions.
Collins Gallery
The Collins Gallery is an integral part of the University of Strathclyde presenting a cultural interface between the University and the city.
Located close to Glasgow 's city centre, only five minutes' walk from the railway stations, prime shopping areas and the Gallery of Modern Art, the Collins attracts some 60,000 visitors per year from the local and tourist communities.
Gateway Galleries
The Gateway Galleries show treasures from the University of St Andrews museum collections. The temporary exhibition gallery features regularly changing exhibitions on a variety of themes, including contemporary Scottish art, photography and anatomy and pathology.
Hunterian Art Gallery
The Hunterian is home to a wide range of collections covering art, humanities and natural sciences. From 2006, a new medical display will celebrate Glasgow's rich medical heritage, exploring major and lesser-known figures in medicine and showcasing their achievements.
Lamb Gallery
The Lamb Gallery is run by University of Dundee Museums Services where regular exhibitions show a changing selection of material from the Collections.
Scottish National Portrait Gallery
The Scottish National Portrait Gallery provides a unique visual history of Scotland, told through the portraits of those who shaped it.
Swanson Gallery
A council run gallery situated within Thurso Library. Varied programme of exhibitions changing monthly, including painting, sculpture, ceramics, textiles and crafts.
