MEDICAL IMPRESSIONS: The Role of Printing in Medical Education in Scotland 28 March - 4 October 2008 As part of the national celebrations to mark 500 years of printing in Scotland, the latest exhibition by the Tayside Medical History Museum focuses on the role of printing in the history of medical education in Scotland - from textbooks to teaching charts, from exam papers to degree certificates. The show has been curated with the assistance of the Department of Special Collections at the University of St Andrews Library, who have supplied an extraordinary range of images from their collection of medical text books, going back to the 15th century.
